it's Pha Luang because it is the biggest status of its kind in Laos. Pha is made by one generous local man & his family + generous donations. it's about 8Km north of Parke city. It's near Ban Sapai, Meaung Xaysanasomboun, champassak province. It's becoming one of the biggest tourist attraction in Pakse.

I totally agree with you. I wonder why they do this? So funny shape and form that I ever seen.

Actually they should get authorisation before constructing immage like this because Laos has its own style of Buddha not funny look like this.

And this can be report to "Phud tha sad sa na Sampan Lao", so they can have a look this joking buddah image.

It's alright, don't be upset that our Lao style buddha images are not so beautiful like those Chinese, Japanese or Thai styles but...

There is no rule & regulation.

As long as you make it by your heart

Same as the ancient time,we using clay to making to the buddha image. Made it by your our own hands and imagin it was the body of the Lord Buddha, we still receiving the prosperity on Buddhanusati same as the other beautiful one.
