ໃນວັນທີ່ 17 ທັນວາ ປີ 2006 ທີ່ຜ່ານມາ ຊາວຫາປາປະເທດມາເລເຊຍຈັບປາທີ່ມີຮູບຮ່າງລັກສະນະ ຄ້າຍກັບພະຍານາກບ້ານເຮົາ


Remember those posters we often see in the coffee shops around Vientiane? The one with the serpentine creature in the hands of US Marines? I had always wondered if the photo wasn't a hoax.

This creature, a scaled down version of the Mekong naga, was netted by Malaysian fishermen. The photo immediately brought to mind the myth of the Mekong naga. Perhaps there still are nagas in the Mekong...
