Viet-Lao or Lao-Viet trade fair?

I come across this advertisement infront of the Cultural hall and the question suddenly come up to my mind whether we should change the name of this trade fair to Lao-Viet Trade Fair and not Viet-Lao trade fair, becuase this event is held in our country.


Some of us may think it is ok to have that name, but rethink about it again. Do you still remember the argument regarding the name of World football Championship between Korea and Japan in 2002 ? Japan wanted the name to be Japan-Korea, while Korea wanted the name Korea-Japan. This is something to be about the pride of the nation.

Yes, I think the name should be changed to "Lao-Viet"...But, I think it's a bit too late...I believe the sign maker were told to put it like that by higher authority...You know what I mean?
