Came out of the supermarket yesterday to find a lovely scuff and a small crack on the rear bumper of my Nissan Patrol, and of course no note left behind. It's not the end of the world but it's one of those things that just bugs me every time I walk up to the car. The damage is mostly cosmetic, but the crack is right on the edge of the bumper and I'm worried if I leave it, it might spread or start looking worse over time. I've never had to deal with body work here before so I'm a bit lost on where to go. I know some places just want to replace the whole bumper for a minor issue, but I'd rather see if it can be properly repaired and repainted to match. I was looking at www.royalprinceautocare.com/service/nissan-body-shop-repair/ and it seems like they actually handle repairs rather than just pushing for replacements, which I like. Has anyone here used them for bumper repairs or any other body work on a Nissan? I'm trying to find a shop that does good paint matching because my Patrol is that pearl white that can be tricky to get right. I don't want to end up with a bumper that looks slightly off in certain light. Any experiences or before and after photos would be super helpful before I decide where to take it.
