Show some respect to a lady or at least to the same level of respect that you show to your Viet brothers/sisters.

Remember that you have to pay the high tax, that's the whole price.

She's might be right!

I think you need to reduce little bit of your attitude and stop to look down any one around you. I also think a lady name Nia has freedom to talk, to write, to vote and even to protest in the country where she's living, especially in the States.  She has her own concerning and reasoning about how Lao people can effort to buy an expensive car in Laos? The people in world are wondering how Lao people in PDR earned money from to pay for car? The top salary in Laos no one couldn't earn over a thousand u.s. dollars a month, but they paid cash for everything they bought plus they have money in their bank accounts million and million u.s. dollars.

It may be true that Laos sell their cars too expensive, but what she said about laos do not know how to sell cars, that is very ignorant of her to say that because she is not living in laos. On top of that she is actually looking down on Laos, so what I am actually defending the Laos people.

OK I don't know why a few of my postings, and especially a reply to this topic got deleted.  All I said and replied to one of the posters here was he didn't need to be upset  or have small heart and feeling.

Cars are just means of getting from point A to point B.  It's the worse kind of investment.

buk ha nee is very stupid....

he is probably from Laos and don't know how business is conducted in the rest of the world, it is a very ignorant comment.

She is right. Most people can't afford to buy these overpriced cars, that's why you see so many of those mopeds/bikes in Laos. Only the few people in Laos can afford $60k Prado's and buy with cash. But if you knew anything about economics, you would know that you can make more money if you sell more to the masses, economies of scale. Toyota doesn't just sell 100 cars to rich people, it sells millions of affordable cars to everyone, that's how they make money.

The reason why she doesn't know how business is conducted in Laos is because it is conducted in a stupid manner, that's why business doesn't flourish there.

The reason there are car dealerships that sell expensive cars in Laos is so we can see who the corrupt people are that stole all the money from foreign aid. They have no job or anything, but just showed up with $60k cash and drove away in that car.

Well if the governemnt have the jobs for them, of course they wouldn't make that less. Now look @China. how much a Chinese workers got pay for making the garment for WALMART,TARGET, Macy' and the rest of the American stores in USA ?  as for pay cash for the good in Laos, those were a business people who could afford them but for the people who couldn't, sell whatever their parent left it for them. Land, houses, or anything valuable.
