If China really want to help Laos develop the country about transportation system in Laos, they should built 4 lanes super hi-way and build regular train tracks from North to South of Laos. Laos needs at least one super hi-way across the country from North to south and beside that super hi-way Laos needs the train tracks across the country also. The regular train and super hi-way are really helping Laos and its population and growing local economies faster. If they build hi speed train tracks, China is getting the most profits, not Laos. I bet China will go to Thailand if Laos canceled this project for good.

No country want to help Laos to build train tracks like Thailand. There's just a few kilometers but it be a big gift for the people of Laos. I see in the near future Thailand will helping Laos built the train tracks from Vientiane Down to Parkse, Champasack province to Ubon Ratsthany, Thakherk to Nakhon Pranom and Savannakheth to Moukdahanh Thailand.

If the hi-speed train project have been signed an agreement in between the government of both nations, one or neither country can't cancel this project, period. If Laos canceled it Laos will pay big price for lawsuit that China will sue Laos Government Like Hongsa's Hydro power project.  The International laws aren't play game with any one.
