That reminds me, you guys know that even Thai and Laos is just across the boarder. Most thai people haven't even seen Laos. We laos can understand them cuz of the Tv shows and what you call it Isan (mix of both language). LOL, tried to talk to Thai people in Laos language and they look at me funny, only the Isan can understand me a bit, but far Hardcore one refuse to listen.

My ex-girl was Thai, but her views of things and the culture, life style she refuse to change for me. Many people told me Lao and Thai doesn't go together, but I refuse to listen. Lets just say I was Used to the end, but refuse to believe it, LOL the fool was me. Even so, Thai people are just like anyone of us, but they just have more opportunities than Laos.

You got to admit Laos is pretty poor in most areas. Just look at the good and bad side of each others. Thai known for girls being conservated...LIES, Bkk known for sex tourist city. Yes it more Modern and up to date with other country.

Laos still lack behind, but in a good way. Is laos known for sex tourist? HECK NO..... Street girls look hella better than thai girls. Nice and peaceful indeed.

Dark Angel right, who cares what they think of us its the 21st century and everyone trying to compete with each other, for a better life. IF Laos ever turn like Thailand and becomes known as sex tourist place. I be ashame of being Laos race and yes I would look down on the country and wouldn't even care.

no Lao blood, Lao and Thai never get along forever.

 

I don't find anything wrong with the spirit of coopration among neighbors. What one lacks, the other will provide. And vice versa. It's this spirit of kindness that makes this worl a little more bearble - and the world becomes a better place.
