Not enough . Laos needs a lot more investment on the Lao people look at Singapore , south Korea and upper Austria as the model . These countries invested heavily on the education and training their people to become well educated people and skill workers.( Brain and mind , science and economy that are the skill and knowledge that Lao people would like to be trained and educated and also what the country needs.) Not just to be farmers and street workers and services and maids or cheap none skill factories workers. All of the thinking and the decisions have already been made for them regarless they like it or not that is the way is going to be . The Lao people specially the young kids would like to have the choice and the opportunity .

Right Dark Angel, but our leaders know it well but think and act in different way from common people do. What a sad feeling I felt when seeing the schools in the northern of laos: I saw one built by villagers equiped with benchs but without table, at least we felt that the villager had done something for the education of their kids ... and another one funded by german government, it was a very beautiful school but without any care from the teachers and the kids, the school yard was full with scraps, I wonder why the head of the village didn't take a look inside a place which was a communal property, the very one place that could bring knowledge that could reduce poverty to the new generation...Do those people know that ? if yes, why they look passively the importance of a school ? laziness or lacking of conscience ???
