old lao saying : you have to produce a mount of wood as big as a house to build a house...it was true ! so to build a 9X10 m house you should cut four to five trees of a girth or circumference of two meters and a longer of 20 meters... you cannot take every bit of it : the trees are never 100 % straight, so you only get 60-80 % of the timber you cut down... so I need only five trees to build an apropriate house for me and my children.

I wonder, why don't local people cut the tree to build the house, i am talking about the Big tree?? like Mai Dieng, Mai Dou, Mai Kian, blabla..
