But for me, it is dusty and nothing and I can't servive in the boring city of Laos

it is the best place for me too because even you are in France, in the U.S. and whenever you are asked where do you come from?, you will then have to say I come from Laos, I come from Vientiane. You can never say you come from Japan or Hong Kong!

I am in overseas for several years and I can't wait to go back, and I will say I am going back home...I am so so happy being a Lao person.

Vientien is not kaotic and hectic like many other cities in the world and I find it's quite charming & very peacefull with extrimely friendly people. I would difenately wanted to go back an visit or even stay there.

Vientiane is not chaotic or exciting. It is a small capital, very quiet but with a lot of pollution. It is very hot and many people want to take a nap during the hot, sticky day.

What kind of criteria did you use to support your statement ? such like :
1. Safe street
2. family-friendly town
3. Unemployment rate ?
4. Outer beauty
5. Public parks ?
6. Entertainment places ?
7. Good/best reataurants ?
8. Best schools
9. Lots of millionaires...?
Etc....

So compare different cities using some of these criterias then we know why it is the best or worst city. OK ?

Oh ! my good friends, I was not able to choose where to be born, where to live and where to die. Even we have some traffic jaming, dusty and muddy roads in rainy season, some bag snatching in evening, every day road accident for not applying the traffic rules, spending more money in car repair caused by bad road condition... All in all, I think I'm happy with it 'cos I own a house there and a piece of land at its outskirt and I have no condition to transport them to other place, So I think it is the better place to live in the world.

vientiane is best place to live ,because your family, your friends and your girlfriends live there too, and of course there are good place to get drunk with bbq... so what you guyz expect more , if you feel hapy in one place, u will love it!!
