Yes we acknowledged that our economic is slow down but this isn't the first time that happpened to United States, When FDR was a President in early 1930 he was combat the great depression. We survived and I didn't see any european country challenge America. never mind China.

In 1987 the Market collaped and I still don't see any country out there challenge America either.

In 2008 Housing Market collapsed and financial went down to the toilet and I still didn't see any country challenge US either except some of the experts on TV commentors said that China will rise against the US but I still don't see that would happen anytime soon. Not even European country.

So as for China to challenge America to be number one economic superpower,555 They gotta be able to look after their own citizens first in every category... as for right now they might be a second largest economic in the world but the Chinese income not even close to what a Japanese people earn...

 You miss all the point , the American people are not poor but the American government could not balance the budget because of the US government is spending too much monies on the Wefare program,Social security , madicare,military , space pogram (NASA) and give the third world countries Aid and wars . Even the disable  people and the poor people who are on welfare, like the illegal immigrant and refugees from the third world countries and the poor people who could not help themselve , don't have to work for the rest of their lives and they still don't have to worry about not tohave the roof covereed their heads and the food on the table unlike north Korean people are starving to death . Cuba and North korea  are not poor countries but the system and their leaders make the countries poor and the people suffer for many decades . Now Lao leader should know that this system are not working . Loas should look at Singapore and south Korea as the model . Singapore is just thinny island no natural resouce but their leader and governemnt are intelligent and invest on their people by educated their people to become the skill workers . South Korea is the most Hi-Tech capital of the digital world because their government also invest on their people that is education . How much is Lao government spending money on education ?

  There are a lot of reasons why the Lao government don't spend too much money on education:

1. It is easy to control the uneducated people.

2.They want only the people whom they could trust such their families and relatives to be well educated and  will later on be in the important office to rule Laos.

3.A lot of  student who are not related to them , they don't trust them to in the important office and one day they think that those people might give the power back to the Lao people ( Democracy system instead of Dictatorship or Communist system).

4. Also a lot of Student who have been educated from the United States and Europen countries won't want to come back to work for the people who have less education and knowledge than they are , and also the salary is so little.
