"Drunk, don't drive", this is totally the wrong campaign's slogan in Laos.
How can drunk people admit that they are drunk?
No matter how many glass of beer, or alcohol they drink, they always say they are O.K.

In Japan, the slogan is " Don't drive whenever you drink"
Even a glass of any kind of alcohol, if you drink and drive, you will be fined, and all the people in the same car will also be fined.

It is time to change the slogan from "Drunk, don't drive" to "Don't drive whenever you  drink"

What do you think ?

They probably try to sell few more beer Laos by advocating ppl that it's ok to have just couple glasses of BeerLao b4 you drive.  Just remember ppl have different tolerance of alcohol in their systems.  Me 4example, one can of beer, just knock me right out baby.
But other ppl take 6 cans and they just like warm up 4them.

Sincere person; mpls,MN

The sign reads  ເມົາບໍ່ຂັບລົດ or ເມົາແລ້ວຫ້າມຂັບລົດ.

Can you translate those Lao words in English.

They do not do the blood alcohol testing  and they don't pull you over just becuase they think you has been drinking... so they have to say when drunk don't drive how else would they say it?

When you drink, don't drive. This mean you don't drive when you drink even though you are not drunk.
