Vietnam’s real estate project contributes to Laos’ development
The real estate and golf course project on the outskirts of Vientiane, Laos, funded by Vietnam’s Long Thanh Golf company, aims to implement the Lao Government’s policy to improve the people’s living standard and develop the country, has said Anouphab Tunalom, Vientiane’s Deputy Mayor.
On an area of 557.4 hectares, the US$1 billion project, the largest foreign-invested one in Laos, will include a 36-hole golf course, a five-star hotel, a villa resort, a trading centre and a school.
The project is in the land clearance period and expected to finish 9 holes on the occasion of the 450th anniversary of Vientiane.
Once operational, it will create a new face for Vientiane and contribute to Laos’ socio-economic development. (VNA)
I have no problem at all , if Investors coming in and help our local economy as well as the whole country. Don't matter to me whom or Where they come from? as long as they do the right way and follow the law that's all... But, i would like to see is, the government should compensate them enough fund to resettlement somewhere else so they don't have to come out and complain about it.. and everything should run nice and smooth for them...Right..
