hi i think i am going to fly to Luang Prabang, from bangkok, then head down to vientiane by boat/bus whichever i fancy at the time, any suggestions would be great and also any other information on weather, hotspots/ visas to cambodia from laos..

thats sound great trip!


u can get visa on arrival at both lao and cambodian airport (1 foto + 1 application form) and fee

frm Luang Prabang (LPB) to Vientiane (VTE), its nice to go by land and stop in Vang Vieng .

or if want to skip Vang vieng just fly lao airlines to VTE or LPB -siem reap in cambodia.

and the weather in laos now getting warm (hot hot hot)  but nice for swiming in waterfall and river .

FYI .....The airport code 4 Luangprabang is LPQ not LPB  VTE-LPQ;  or BKK-LPQ;
Anyway, it's very nice of you to go back there right now, bcoz the weather is not too hot, nice & warm.  If you go during Boon pee mai Lao,  oh... man that's different story.
