It's more like the government is having an easier time to control the country that have mostly an uneducated people, because they'll believe in anything their government said to them. As a result Laos is still one of the most under developed country in the world , because of one opinion and one idea in comparison to many other countries of democracy such as U.S.A , Singapore, south Korea, etc... in reality there are only 5 countries on the world that are not democracy country.

So Laos is not the world and Laos doesn't need foreigners to tell Laos what to do it our own land and it's none of the foreigners and the WTO business.

Very simple solution  the government just comply with WTO about the corruptions and implement and also the human being right which are good for the country and the people.

Children are a future of the country and farmers are the back bones of the country!
Laos Gov need to sacrifice and invest in this area it would be a good  a start of getting Laos and Lao people out of poverty, after that human rights needs to be address.

Laos doesn't need the world community to tell Lao government about the human being right and corruption when Lao government ask or beg for the foreign aid money to help the poor people and kid and the money end up in their banking account in Switzerland and  foreign bank and the poor people have never seen the money. Now Lao government would like to benefit the Chinese and the Vietnamese by becoming the WTO member without complying with TWO about the corruption and the Haman being right . So it is clear that some high rank government officials don't care about the progress, development and the future of the Lao people but their own personal financial benefit and to stay in power no what it would cost the Lao people and the country to be suffered.

I'm telling you LaoNai will live like Cattle fighting for survival in the future. Laos then will be either too populated or squeeze between Vietnam,Cambodia,Thailand and China population in every corner of Laos borders. Then all those LaoNai will soon go existence in history.

My prediction after Laos became member of WTO thier capital gain will be divide 3 ways from 100% .

China 55% 50%
Vietnam 40%

Lao's high rank officials 10%
Local Lao  5%

I'm not worried about Vietnamese coming to Laos, I actually want more Viet to move to Laos since Saigon, and Hanoi is becoming very crowded.  And a lot of Vietnamese now looking for a new place to start and do business else where too.  And I do feel as Lao is apart of my people as to Vietnam.aww

And there is still many un-develop area in Lao major cities like sewage and clean water, and many other development.

How 's about 300 million Chinese move in Vietnam. 100 million Chinese move in Laos.

 

 


I think  there might be more then 100 million Chinese in Laos, in the next's 20 years.  And in Vietnam, some population might push out of Vietnam into Laos open vast country instead.

This looks like a great news. Laos will integrate better with the fast changing world. I hope people from the marginalized sector will benefit from this seemingly positive turn of events.

WTO is good for Laos to be part and member that is winning situation for Lao economy . Laos could not afford to be isolated from the world community and WTO.
