some ppls say that vientiane games and SEA games is different.. so 25th seagames in laos should be written only SEA games, not vientiane Games, any one agree?
It is SEA Games, why would they wants to rename it to Vientaine Games? If you call it Vientaine, then just be only khon lao will participate. SEA = South East Asia, get it?? NOT just Laos okay... Let's not get ahead of yourself now.
Laos should consider themselve lucky to pull it off. Does anyone ever think if the Chinese didnt help fund/build the stadium, would the SEA Games ever happen? Korean build the golf course, Thailand help build boxing facility and Vietnam build the Athletic Campus... Let's not try to get all the credit now, let the credits falls where it should..

some people here dont understand? vientiane games or seagames this times is the same. I remember, olympic 1996 in Atlanta, they also called Atlanta games. Olympic in Beijing, they sometimes also called Beijing Games. It is depends on what you use.
Moreover, for foreign assistance mentioned above in this comment, I think we need to clarify more what is assistance, what is donation and what is Investment, for the Case of golf course contructed by Korea, it is an investment, they will in something in Return like BOT (build operate transfer). this is my oppinion
sea games was great but just my 2 cents, i hope their will be a vietniane games just to promote sports amongst lao people kinda like a national event, to sharpen the skills of our athletes. keep on improving laos !!!!
