Lao Sompakkad

Kimji is very famous not only in Korea, but every where in the world.
What about our Lao Sompakkad (pickle vegetable). I think it is very similar in taste, and ingredient, but nobody knows about our Lao food.
Can Lao Sompakkad go international like Korean Kimji ? and how ?

Korean Kimji

Kimji is so nasty and stink.
I like to bring sompakkad when I go fishing, grill the fish by the river with sompakkad and hot sticky rice is the best meal you've ever had.

For me, I love both sompaks, I sometime eat kimji while watching sports. I mean just kimji, just kimji alone, nothing else. and also sompakad teen-mee is my favorite one, never tire of eating it. espcially eating with Pin-pa, Oh,boy!!. saab-eree der peenong.5555.

I prefered Korean Kimchi than Somphakkard

As Kimchi has more ingredients and more healthy than Somphakkard

It has high in Vit C, A, B

It helps for stomach as it's full of good bacteria and it helps to reduce the condition of flatulence as it has Garlic and Ginger in there.

I love the country but I just choose to eat more on healthy food and hygenic

You must try Kimchi at Japanese restaurant. Very nice especially in Fuji at Siam Paragon
