I have seen some shortcomings in the rehearsal of the SEA Games opening/closing ceremonies performance, especially the lines of the performers. They apparently don't make the lines straight. They should make the lines straight like the Chinese soldiers who are trained to watch their own lines carefully and make sure the lines are straight, noone should go out of the lines.
Hi Ed: Is Melbourne hotter than Laos? You haven't told me where you were born and grown up in Laos.
I was born in Laos ,No Melbourne is not hotter than Laos, but in another state (Queensland) the weather just like in Laos they can plant tropical Vegetables and fruits (same as in Laos) so we can eat fresh Vegetables and fruits same as you do in Laos, most of the foods are import from Thailand, Vietnam,China...and yes we eat rice (either sticky or jasmine rice)there are 4 seasons in one years
in summer there are a couple of days that really hot (40c)
but one thing I want to say is even in the hot day people there don't use umbrellas when they walk in the sun.

Health wise, it's not a bad thing to protect yourself from the sun. Australia has one of the highest number of people in the world with skin cancer because they are exposed to the sun too much and without proper protection.
