I STILL REMEMBER FROM 1975 THRU 1980 WHEN PATETH LAO WERE TRYING TO COMMUNICATE WITH LOCAL PEOPLE. THEY BASICALLY USE MONK AND THE TEMPLE FOR SEMINAR OR IN LAO LANGUAGE "SUMMANAR". IT ISN'T BAD IDEA TO GET LOCAL PEOPLE ATTENTION AND BESIDE THEY SEEMED TO LISTEN THE MONK VERY WELL.
