Sticky rice ever since my first day in this 3rd country. I was very lucky living in the city with many Asian people, I go to supermarket and buy just about everything to cook Lao or asian food here. we also have many Vientamese resturants just about every corner, I like to go eat pho all the time on my luch time instead of eat some jung food at the fast food resturant.
I wonder how are you gonna eat steamed Vietnamese rice with Laab Koi Zoi-zae or other type of Lao. Vietnamese rice is sticky as Chinese ot Burmese rice. Are you gonna eat it with chopsticks?
Laotiane eat everything save more money.. but don't eat dog...look like ...somebody.. if you eat dog maybe getting h1n1
South Korean eat at least 1 million dogs in 1 year, they have dog farms like pig farms for meat, and dog meat restaurants in Seoul, according to BBC document.

If you go to South Korea and go to dog restaurants in Seoul and insult them, korean will farst at your face first and they will kick you out in the streets back to USA Who are you to judge whatever people can eat and not? If you wanted to eat rats is your choice, does not hurt anybody? 1 thing is that you are very bitter for Vang Pao, I read you many comments too.

I'd love a South Korean to fist me in the face so I can do a Muay Lao round kick, knee and elbow him. Taekwando is no match to Muay Lao/Thai.
In the news, there were 5 best thai kick boxers from Thailand challenged other martial arts, they went to China and were beaten by chinese boxers 4 out of 5, thai kick boxers lost all 4 and only won 1.....so I am not sure about thai boxers or muai thai beat the world.....what a laugh, quel domage.

I think the agent is sent to competition just amateurs. Non-professional. By the way, boxer rules limit use elbow. It's not fair.

You mean against Chinese sanders. It's practically Muay Thai anyway.

Yes that's correct! The whole tournaments are just for Chinese consumptions. They'll be shocked if they see the reality.

For those Lao Nork who use to eat rice. Whether Sticky Rice or Steamed Rice. What kind of rice that you like to eat? And from which counytry?
Sticky Rice from Philippines or Thailand?
Indian Basmati or Thai Jusmin Rice?
Chinese short grain rice or Vietnamese short grain rice or Japanese rice?
But don't say it's imported from Lao b'cos I never see it on the market of supperstore.

All of my nieces and nephews love sticky rice but we dont feed them much because sticky rice contain too much sugar. We dont want them to be diabetes, just feed them twice a week.

Yeah right that's why Lao people are fat or even obese because they eat too much sticky rice (which contains too much sugar).

i am not agree 200% with you guys that people who eat much sticky rice are fat, there are many kids and people in the country side are still in need of food and nutrition of food, because just eating sticky rice is not enought protine ... i think the most serious is that sticky rice is hard to digest and i m not suggest to eat it at evening or before sleeping.and I am siggesting that ppls must cum 33 times before eat it down.

So most of the time to feed them by Double Cheese Burgers and Pizza instead of Sticky Rice which contain high energy of Carbohydrate?
This sticky rice wont harm you or coz you to have Diabetes. If like that all of Laos people living in Lao who only eat sticky rice are all got Diabetes already. Please note that. Sticky Rice is not containing of Sugar but Carbohydrate. If you can eat a TON of sticky rice in per day..yeah, you may get Diabetes. Okay?
I don't eat sticky rice every day. I eat it only whenever I eat larb and fried meat. I like to eat ordinary rice and feu. I bougth the imported sticky rice from Thailand, South Korea and Japan. A 25 pound sack of ordinary rice costs more than US$20.00 in the U.S. I go shopping at South Korean and Vietnamese grocery stores to buy food.

It's good to hear that you support your South Korean and Vietnamese compatriots.
No, I am not South Korean nor Vietnamese American, I shop their stores because there is no Lao grocery store in my State. There are Thai restaurants and Thai store but they are very far away. I am not crazy Lao American to shop only Lao or Thai stores. I like to shop the Koreanand Vietnamese stores because they are near my house. I don't care about race or ethnicity.
Lao Nauk only eat botan and basmati only! They have better quality!!
Basmati Rice? Indian long rice? The best way how to eat is you must cook half raw half cook and eat with Indian curry by hands pick it and put into the mouth. I believed that after you eat, your stomach will produce lots of gas and fart whole day, man!
I don't think Lao people or any other Far East Asian will eat Basmati excepted Indian or South Asia countries.
In this world. The Jasmin Rice is the best rice and it has its own fragrant unlike the others.

Come and see it in India, man! They steamed rice half cooked and then mixed up the veg oil & indian spices ( so strong smell). I work in India last couple years ago. I have to eat what they have cooked everyday. Rice also put spices, Curry also put spices and my under arms also smelly like their spices too hahaha. When I stay in India, I didn't notice but when I went back to Laos, I found my body got strong under arms smell like those Indian people. Al of my friends also said so.

I'm Lao and I think you're not truthful about all of this. What are you talking about, Indian spices made you have BO? that's the silliest thing I have ever heard of?
If I cook Laotian food then it would be sticky rice If I cook Vietnamese or Chinese food then it would be jasmine rice If I cook the falung food then it would be the fresh bread from the supermarket But I usally go out eat at the restuarant I don't like to cook that much.

It's true and well known fact! If you don't believe me then go and sniff some Indian armpits. Then you can tell me if it's true or not.
