Samakomlao will release new website (9/9/2009)

If the new website fully in Lao, then I guess
your members will be mainly whithin Laos only,those from
outside and under 25 I don't think they can read or write Lao noticed from topics pasalao bellowed even I can tell nearly all
of them posted by Lao nai.
but I don't have any problem at all ,just sharing my opinion

Don't worry, I will not close Samakomlao website]
Just create one more website in Lao language to encourage, and motivate Lao people in Laos and abroad to use our own language as much as possible.

I totally agreed with you. Thanks for your dedication for Lao to Lao. I hope that Lao nork will feel free trying to learn how to read, write or typing in Lao. Not just English which is not in Lao identity

samakomlao, u should close this english version. everyday i notice myself losing and forgeting every words of lao/thai. it seems like i lost my own culture writing this in english and MOST of all, the kids and childrens in LAO/THAILAND visit the website mostly everyday of their life and all they do is study and read english. they dont get anything out of it. only bullshiit, lies, fake things, watch movies, porn websites, and play games. there is no point in getting english as a secondary education. no one speaks english in Lao/Thai because all they do is brain-washed others to prostitutions, crimes, and jobless after graduating.

I don't think you should close this website altogether. There are people like me who still like to use English to communicate and share ideas with ideas. That's not to say that I don't like to write or read Lao; some idea/concept/topic is just better communicated/discussed in English.

If we have two versions, Lao and English, then you have choices to choose from.

Seeing from another side, some people come to this website to learn and practice their English too. Of course, there will be morons who mess around. But there'll always be everywhere. I'm not encouraging. But that's the way it is.

I'm with you, webmaster.

By the way, great job with this one. I'll definitely check out Lao version too once it's launched.

I guesss LaoNai don't want to learn the common language of english since the whole world are speaking and learning english. Did you know english is a universal language through out the world and in the future?????

and my answer r , if i dont know the out side world, i cant develop my own culture to b more better . See now a day many people in Loas r uneducated , i m helping them , teaching them , telling them ............ i teach them loas, thai, english, art and culture... for wat? ......for them to learn themselves and the world . In Buddist, they say ... OPEN UP YOUR HEART AND MIND BECUASE THAT IT THE FIRST STEP OF LEARNING....
