The Miss Universe pageant is over and now we know two things: Miss Venezuela won the crown and Heidi Montag should forget about a singing and/or dance career.
Stefania Fernandez, 18 was crowned Miss Universe 2009 by outgoing titleholder Dayana Mendoza, also from Venezuela.
The first runner-up title went to both Miss Kosovo Gona Dragusha.
Venezuela has won more National crowns than any other country with five Miss Universe titles, five Miss World’s and four Miss International crowns.
Stefania Fernandez is of Russian, Ukrainian, Galician and Polish origin and .enjoys tennis and swimming in her spare time.
The top five Miss Universe 2009 contestants were::
Miss Dominican Republic, Ada
Miss Australia, Rachael Finch
Miss Puerto Rico, Mayra Matos Perez
Miss Venezuela, Stefania Fernandez
Miss Kosovo, Gona Dragusha
Miss Congeniality was won by Miss China, Wang Jingyao while Miss Thailand, Chutima Durongdej took the Miss Photogenic title.
For whatever reason, Donald Trump decided to have Heidi Montag perform at the pageant. She sang and attempted to dance a bit to “Body Language” from her debut album. NBC wisely blocked out more than half of her performance to show photos of the top 15 finalists.
While the quality isn’t very good, below is a video of Montag’s performance.
the asian contestants look stunning, but then most of the judges are westerners who have a different set of mindset for what is beautiful to them. ms. philippines is very beautiful... hahaha

based on who get to be judges from the past, miss universe competition is like a joke.
i think donald trump's son was once a judge. and there was black judge one time who kept giving black girls 9.0 while the white girls got only 7 or 8 points. haha.
