Republic of Korea donates education equipment to Laos

(KPL) National Agency for Information (NAI) of Republic of Korea gave education equipment and 35 computers, worth US$80,000, to the Vientiane Artisan Development Centre, to give opportunities to Lao youths to be proficient in information technology.
During the gift presentation ceremony, held on 17 August at the Vientiane Artisan Development Centre, Mr Kim Seang Tae, President of NAI of Republic of Korea handed over equipment and computers to Mr Chansou Khamphan, Head of the Vientiane Artisan Development Centre.
The notable witnesses of this event were the Deputy Head of Vientiane Artisan Development Centre, the Deputy Mayor of Vientiane and Ambassador of Republic of Korea to Laos.
In the past, the NAI had donated equipment and machines worth US$250,000 to the Lao government, in particular Vientiane Artisan Development Centre.
The NAI and Vientiane Artisan Development Centre had been cooperating since 2005 and it was under the work plan of ASEAN Plus 3.
In the past, NAI donated 63 set of computers and equipment for learning and teaching e-education, e-commerce and e-labourmarket.

Wow that's a start for relationship. I think Laos should open our doors for more investment and at the same time have our culture introduce to those country that are curious about Laos Culture,tradtion and the people.
