Oh ! indeed, I just was to Luangphabang yesterday, I was once there two yrs ago ... Oh my goodness ! many things has changed, people has developed itself by many steps, in only one place that lao businessmen gather for a meeting, I saw two big Hummer Jeeps, other two Lexus Jeeps not to mention others powerful jeeps and pick ups such as Ladcruisers and Vigos... I said to myself that if theses people have not many millions US dollar, they wouldn't be able to afford to buy such expensive vehicles and living in big, big and beautiful house decorated with maydoo,maymakkua and teak wood. it amazed me a LOT !

I am not surprise coz some of these cars owned by Laotian in Laos are almost US $1 million including tax.

Zimbabwe right now almost all of their population are millionaires because their currency is so cheap.

Wow I hope they rather spend it on laos developement and people then there own greed atleast. But then again every model and design comes out every year there is no need to get a luxury cars. But oh well who am I to judge a person anyways peace out.

First of all none of these cars worth $1 mill dollar and beside why post the SALEEN S7 TWIN TURBO that is not even in LAOS which is about $555,000 u.s dollars that might be the most expensive car if that in Vientiane and plus the SLR in locate in Thailand. Thanks alot. and for those multi millionaires in Laos, most or majority of them are not self made millionaires they are just like the old time Corrouption Bureaucrats.

YES!! lung-SomBoun (this was i called him) was one of the Richest man in Muang-Sikohtabong back then!! maybe in the top five in LAOS, his house right infront of my sikhot high school. i actually saw him in person.well anybody go to that school should have known the man.one of the richest man in town.
