I don’t understand German but I assume that they are trying to harvest Sandal-wood in Lao we call (Mai ket sa na), which they now have farm everywhere in Laos rather than cutting from the wild jungle like these people. This kind of wood need to be infected by insects, the more destroyed by insect the higher price they will gain.
