Recruiting the professional skill personnel such as doctors, teachers and professors volunteer to work in Laos for couple years at least with the help of the united nation.

Hey, not only we sent money to Laos, but we go back all the time. By doing so we are helping the economy by spending lots of money there, especially on kalee. Old men(snake heads) like us are still going back and get marry with young Lao girls and bring them to America. Once they get here and work, more money is sent home. More money sent home, more happy Lao nai. Then later we could bring wife's parents to America. Then everybody is happy. Then we make lots of Lao nork babies. By producing more Lao people here, they will get good educations and hopefully one day they will go back and do the same thing to help Lao nai and Laos itself to be a better country. There are lots of ways we(Lao Nork) can contribute to the growth of Laos. But at the end of the day-its up to the people living in Laos(Lao Nai). Laos has to overcome a lot of obstacles to achieve its goal of becoming a development nation. The people of Laos know what kind of problems Laos faces. You know for sure that the government are very corrupted and please don't say that are not true. The Country is broke but the communist party have a lot of money to buy luxury cars and houses and send their kids to go to school over sea while a lot of young poor children need vaccine , medicine and school. It always been like this fro over 3 decades. This system have been use in N. Korea and Cuba for many decade and it does not work. How could it work because only one party run the country and corrupt , there are no other party to police the system. You and your party knew what you are stolen from the people not only money but the right to be the human been. Every year the government have to beg for aid from China , Japan and other countries just to survive .

WHAT DOES CLEANING TOILETS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH FREEDOM? CLEANING TOILETS IS BETTER THAN STEALING MONEY FROM THE COUNTRY. That is the major issue that Lao nai could do not for Lao nork but for themselves and the whole country. They have open their mouth and speak out loud that they are tired and sick of this corrupted government and need to be stop now and come stand up for your right it is have been over 3 decades already . I feel as if only one person tried hard to discredit Lao government. The main goal is to push Lao people killing each other like what happened before 1975. We Lao people are tired of war. We don't want Laos to be like Iraq. We are peaceful people.

Our people have every right to improve our life but not to seek a war where people would be killed in vain. Our life is the most important. Now is 21 century, actually. Only stupid people would create a war like stupid American soldiers have been killing innocent people, women and children without a shame just for gaining other countries resources.

Having read all these comments, I feel as though Lao-American people follow very well the stupid American government policy, like to discredit other countries government. All other countries governments are bad, but the American is always good. Why don't you think other people are also human being?. They have their own brains and have the rights to decide their own countries' fate based on their people choices.

Please look at Chinese people and their government, they never interfere internal business of other countries. That's why they gain a big respect from other countries.

You got it wrong we never want war . All we need the human been right , the freedom of speech, freedom of press when we see some government corrupted , We would like to have our voice to be heard. The people have the right to criticize what right and what 's wrong. If the president Obama did some thing wrong or right and we have the right to say but if in Laos you say or someone say that, they will be killed . Let give the right to the human been to be human. The people are tried not to be able to speak and say a word when someone in the government corrupted. The people need to be heard not to be shut up or jail or Killed. The people now they are afraid to speak out of what the corrupted in the government are doing. I only wish and hope in the peaceful and civilize way.
