Their voices sound good because the sound engineer/producer changed their voice with a program. In real life their voices aren't as good. Also when they sing live, they lip-sync, which means they don't sing they have the recording and pretend to sing. A lot of Lao singers lip-sync and I think that has to stop. You are either confident and professional or you are a fake!
Yeah but once people find out they lip-sync that is the end for them as a singer. One example is Milli Vanilli or another is Ashlee Simpson. In America you have to have real talent. They accept lip-syncing in Laos and Thailand. For what reason, I don't know. I think everybody is embarassed and don't want to talk about it. That is the problem with Thai and Lao people they always keep things under the rug and don't come out in the open and talk about things. Also sometimes people don't even know they are lip-syncing because they are "Ban Nok" or a little stupid like a hillbilly hick in the country side of Texas. haha!

What do you think about this video? Is that lip-syncing or not?
You idiot I mean during a concert not in a music video! Everyone lip-syncs in a music video. A lot of Lao singers never sing live they always lip-sync because they are afraid to make a mistake while singing. Also a lot of them can't even sing that well. The Morlam singers can sing good and have real natural talent.
