(KPL) The Information and Culture Service of Chanthabouly district in cooperation with local authorities seized and put 23 game boxes and more than 400 porn videos CD on fire at Ban Nongtha Tai, Chanthabouly district, Vientiane Capital on 15 December.
The game boxes and the porn video CD were seized in local markets and shops in Chanthabuly district. The burning ceremony was attended by Vice Chief of Chanthabuly district, Mr. Sengphone Souvanny and relevant officials. This activity is to conserve the fine traditional custom of Laos.

i think porn vcd or Dvd should be legal to sell in the market so that the aldult can watch freely without any raping cases in the country, Under 18 year old wont be allowed to buy and watch it, and all the video shoud be censor by the Ministry culture... is it good idea?

accept or forbit porn is, according to me, a question of culture... so every choise of a country can be respectable.
I live in a country where porn is clearly accepted, and i have nothing wrong with that, but i also undersand if a country want to ban/avoid that and consider such things as not acceptable. Everyone should respect culture difference... don't look down at people, considering they still live in the past and not 21st century, just because they don't think the same as you . Not all things we have developped in the 2 last centuries is good or 100% good... so you can't blame someone for rejecting such things.
