I hope and exspect that on the 5th December will be the good new for passenger and tourists , the PAD's unacceptable action will be over around the 2 main Airports and othe rpublic places in BKK because the 5th December is very importnat day for Thai people
please try to know by youself, what day it is ?

the PDA WON'T GIVE A DAMN ON 5TH DEC. THEY HAS BEEN ACTING LIKE THS, OVER THE 3 MONTHS ALREADY. THE PDA WILL STOP THE PROTESTING WHEN THE CURRENT GOVERNMENT RESIGN..

Yes!! I have to agree with Khonthakek. Those protesters will not stop until the current government resign. I guess the PDA doesnt give a damn about the economy in Thailand.

The red group in the Northern parth ( Isaan ) as the supporter of the Thai Government had blocked all the high ways to Bkk in order to prevent the new coup . please , closely monitoring the situation in Thailand.

If you are talking about the Thai politic, it's a PAD, not a PDA.

People's Alliance for Democracy but I'd prefered to call them Peoples Against Democracy.

we are speaking the same language, everyone have to keep in mind that thai are dangerous. their policy is the " great thai " thai always consider their country as the most powerfull country in the southeast asia. so let`s see where they are going. closing down two main airport is like closing down theirfactories and boundaries it affected every sectors national lyand internationaly, they are loosing credit from other countries....

Laos can help Thais a lot.Laos Gov should help support transportation to the world while Thailand is being kidnapped by the PAD.Laos Inter Air should help, this will gain credits and share simultaneuosly.Laos can be the Safe Gateway for the +300,000 travellers who are still remaing in Thailand with worry.

Thailand is becoming Rwanda. Bangkok is going to be the past Beirut,Lebanon . God,who can help?

The just of Thai Justice is suspected by theWorld.It seems to be true for the Thai court sentenced the Thai police not to harm the PAD despite the PAD has full arms that ropped from Thai paliament and brought by themselves.The Police is weaken while the PAD catched 88 jet planes and thousands of passengers in Sawanabhum Airport and have many children from the innocent protesters as their shield.Thai gov is being destroyed by giving up the main Parties (PPP and others) by the Thai Court despite the Emergrncy Stage, very abnormal!!

The more worrying is the "People In Red" who troubled by the PAD are having strong manners to react something.This will be the inevitable start of Thai Internal War!!

Thaksin or not now is nonsense.The people are having hatred against each other.Yellow VS Red Civil War is so near.

     about what Thai have done to Laos before, even untill now thai people like
     to blam on Lao nation.......in long history they are such the selfish country
     help foreign countries to kill Laos people and themself burn VT, took every

Ninja Pheebah, Wattai Airport is very small, eventhough it can land big jet.

Don't say the nonsense things by suggesting that Laos should get involve.

Using Utapao airport should be enough to alleviate the stranded passengers.

Wattai is very small comparing with Utapao.But Laos can be the gate way to Chinese , Vietnam ,Hainan ,Hongkong and anywhere.

Think about the safety of the guests first.PAD at the airports have guns.They can catch the passengers (and air planes) like at Mumbai a few days ago.

I think, what we learn from this event in Thailand, that, we got affected on tourism, which most of tourists mainly come to Laos via Thailand...

But to turn from crisis to opportunity, from now on, i think we should try to to learn to be regional hub, because we are most stable in term of Society, location, people.... but we have think brilliantly how to allocate the budget, if we think brilliantly and implement it with effective manner, we will be sure get benefit and become stronger and gain international reputation simutaneouly...

I really hope that we can learn from our neigbors and regional situation, and think and act brilliant, I am sure we can be properous and stronger than our neigbors... ( If you want to emulate them, you have to observe at them)

With the efforts of the Lao Government and due to political tention in Thai society, the 14th ASEAN Summit to be held in Xieng mai form 15-18 Dec 08 had been publicly announed by Minister of Foreign Affaires of Thailand that the
ASEAN summit will be posponded to March 2009. regarding the root causes of political tention in Thailand it will very hard to control because of wrong doing in the society in the past and according to each group vission, the Country will be divided , civil war, reach and poor. I considered that PAD is Hijacker and bad eliments and their action are unaccepted by majority, they try to kill foreigners tourist by blocking the two mains Airport.

But the Hijackers are under protege' of some most top classes.They are well protected by some conservative society despite breaking laws all the times.

I hoped and expected that Kingdom of Thailand will be divided in two or three states as had been happen with former Yugoslavia and Soviet Union and other countries, the Isaan lanena States will born and will become the 193rd state members of United Nations ans 11 member of ASEAN very soon.

Lanxang Kingdom itselft was builded by three Kingdom in the first place anyway.

Lao(VT) hates the way Thai look down on Lao(VT) but I'm sure deep down Lao(VT) look down on Lao(LPB) or even (JPS) as well that why it was unacceptable for King from LPB will rules all Lao and make LP be the capital of Lao. It has to be Lao(VT) only who rules Lao all, hasn't it? or was it because LPB rather wanted to stay closely with Thai or even united with Thai than Lao Vientiene?

Lanna and LPB are relatives.JPS and Isaan are relatives.Sayasetha The Great from LPB founded VT.Or said LPB is the parents of VT while JPS is origin. No Lao children look down upon their own ancestors except they are not crucial Lao. Cheer to Fa-ngum The Great!

Thai look down on Lao?Not certainly. Lao Prime can check hand with the any Royal but Thai's cannot.Seems like that Laos are higher.

When I saw the news, I saw many protesters holding pictures of the King. You know how much Thai people love and respect their King. Basically, the government have their hands tied. Without the King and his royal family, you think they will let these protestors do the things they do? Think about it.

I really sympathized with the PAD for trying to get the corrupted politicians out but some of their proposal for change is not right. They wanted to appoint political seat instead of having open election. That is just wrong.
In the mean time I don't like the red shirt going around waving sword. Maybe they are even behind the bombing.

What do you want Laos to help them with? Do you want Laos to go over and help run the country? Do you want Laos to go help clear out the protesters, when their own government and King won't do anything? Do you want Laos to help fly out all the tourists when we have like 2 planes in our country? Even if we have 1000 planes, the airport is shut down. It's none of our business. Besides, I don't think the Thais are asking us for help. They don't need help. Even if they do I don't think they going to ask us for help because they are afraid of losing Thai pride (sia piab) to Laos. There's nothing we can do or should do. Just mind our own business, it's the best way to go.

The situation in like a firestorm. You just need to let it burn itself out. Thai people need to resolve their own problem. Only they can understand their own situation. Storming the airport is a bad idea for the PAD. I think the government going to come down hard on them for sure. Camping out in front of the parliament is one thing but disrupting the lifeline of the nation like this is just wrong. The PAD might have lot of farang supporters but this situation will likely look bad for the tourism business.

This is a good lesson for us to build on. NOw it's time for us to grow and be independent. We have always depend on others to stay alive through out our history. We need to expand our infrastructures. I know it takes time but eventually we will accomplish it if we have that ambition to keep striving. I think we do, we just need to put it into action. Our country can not operate like this. Because Thailand is having problem, it shouldn't affect us, but it is because we always rely on others. Learn from this and lets grow.
