(KPL) The Lao Ministry of Public Health and the French Government signed an agreement on a higher education project in medicine, worth 1.9 million Euros, in the premises of this Ministry on 20 November.

The aim of this 27-month project is to upgrade the knowledge of medical professionals of hospitals and medical students studying at the Health Science University.

This project is part of a financial support package that gives priority to improvement in treatment services and networking between hospitals and the Medical Science University.

The agreement was signed by the Minister of Public Health, Dr. Ponemek Daraloy, and the French Ambassador to Laos, Mr. Francois Senemaud, in the presence of officials of both two sides.

you prefer nothing?
i'm happy to see my country helping Laos, and we could always expect more, but please think as a laotian, not french : Be happy with what you can get rather than being sad/angry with what you cannot get.

My country is still giving money for helping other as we loose 50 billions euros per year (french yearly public deficit)... In such situation, my country could reasonnably decide to stop any help to other country, but they don't... I think you should appreciate it rather than criticize!

Moreover, this is not the only help France provide to Laos... just one among many.
