Yea, I wouldn't know the thai singer name. It is classic lao song "gularb paksun", I can listen to it all the time. I heard so many thai singers sing this same song.

Yes, I am sure as well. I also heard he is Khone Lao too. I was trying to look for this name lastnight from my collect of cassette tape. I recognize the voice imediately but couldn't think of a name.
This is what I have found, his mother side was from ban Phonsimh, Savannakhet. Her original last name was Chanthasaka which can be found on both sides of Mekong banks. His mother was the aunt of Thai famous Field Marshal Sarit Dhanarajats.
