they are definitely esan (first is called faun pu-thai, second is some sort of serng) =P. i used to dance. correct me if i'm wrong. they are not wearing the right costumes in the second video though. the skirts are supposed to be knee length and a little flirty. sometimes we wear bells on our ankles..
i used to dance all kinds of lao dance. (dok champa, dok bua tong, kinnalee, mahaxay, serng thangwai, kup ngeum, hoy phone 1, hoy phone 2, pao lao, are some i've done) i started when i was 7. last time i danced was 3 or 4 years ago for a lao new years party.
