(KPL) The National Telecommunication and Post Authority will reduce mobile phone calling fee as of next year.
“It will expand mobile phone network to ensure nationwide service next year,” said last week the Deputy-Director of the National Telecommunication and Post Authority, Mr Padabpheth Sayakhoth.
The NTPA will also upgrade mobile phone transmission towers of all mobile phone network providers across the country and enable them to join signal. The number of cell phone users has been constantly increased over the last decade. On average, 27 in every 100 people use mobile phones.
It is expected that the proportion will increase to 42 in every 100 people by 2010, added Mr. Padabpheth.
