It is one of typical Laotians (citizen or exile) behavior. Why do we keep continue behaving this way toward others Lao. This is the exact same behavior display on the thread about the Lao badminton player representing US in the 2008 Olympic game.

To me and it should be obvious to others, it doesn't matter he is not a citizen of Lao or not but he is still Lao by blood. For that we should be proud or atleast being ...simply nice toward other person because we are all human being.

I don't think is a typical Lao Diaspora behavior but a disgrace and divisive action of a small group of insecured and anti-social individuals craving for attention.

Lao people of all Ethnicity and regardless of their Lao citizenship status deserve our supports and encouragements. There are so few of us in this world to be divided. History has taught us that disunity is the root cause of our Lao Lan Xang demise. Lao people are like toothpicks, if bundled together, even toothpicks are hard to break.

Because majority of people that posted comments here are PRO-Laos PDR. So basically Lao citizen can do no bad things. There are no Lao maejang in Thailand or in Laos. Yes, I do sympathize the Isan people. Only the good Isan people can be called Thai, but the bad one should be called Lao. As we all know that Isan people have Thai citizen, but when it comes to Mae Jang they cannot be called Thai any more.

The other thing I would like to emphasize is that all talented people in Thailand are from Isan provinces like famous boxers, movie stars, sportsmen and singers. However, these people have never been called Lao, though.

But the Mae Jang people from Isan are not Thai, isn't it?
