Rent a shuttle van 100US$ a day to Luang Prabang.

Highway No.13 North 388 km. or 8 hours to Luang Prabang.

 $100/day   ?????furiousfuriousfurious damn.  many people in lao make less than $ 100/month.  so  how can they gonna have a chance to sit inside the damn van ?
in the united states just about  $80/daysmilesmilewinkwinkbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

two or three families share with each other and rent the van for all day, it is not that too expensive and they rent it once or twice a year...

i used to rent vans in Laos.... the price was much much lower: about 30$/day if you stay in a city area, 60-70$/day if you travel accros the country.

Who ask 100$/day? definitly too expensive.
