Thai company to invest US$48 million in Savannakhet
(KPL) - Thai Airway-affiliated Ground Service Company has signed an agreement with the Lao government under which the company will invest USD48 million in central Laos.
Accordingly, the company will build infrastructure for a trade and service centre on a 270-ha area in Savannakhet Special Economic Zone. The centre will include three five-star hotels, a bank, a trade centre and several service buildings.
Constructions is scheduled to be completed in three 3 years.
The company also planned to invest in building an international airport in Savannakhet province.
i heard that long time ago but it never happened i think thai don't wants other country to invest this project bcuz it will finish sooner and better i think after 5 years everything gonna break down
