(KPL) The Nang Sangkharn Contest. 2550 B.C (Buddhist Calendar) was held in Luang Prabang last week seeking a representative of Lao women to attend the Nang Sangkharn parade during Pi Mai cerebration in Luang Prabang province, the jewel town of tourists.
The contest was attended by 28 girls within province as the result, Miss. Salakphet Sioudomphan has awarded the contest and was appointed as Nang Sangkharn of 2550 B.C, which received a motorcycle (Honda Wave) and a million kip.
The awards were presented by Deputy Governor of Luang Prabang, Dr. Khamphaeng Xaysomphaeng. Other six girls also the prizes respectively, which was witnessed by organising committee and people.
Nang Sangkharn 2550 B. C contest was sponsored by the Global Fund PSI. Nang Sangkharn is the last daughter of Phaya Kabilaphom. This year Nang Sangkharn is the 7th daughter, named Mahothron Thevy, she rides a pea****.
