Laos is now becoming a very popular place for many Thai tourists due to the opening of many international check points and the visa-free condition that drive up the increase of tourists to Laos. Very soon, the new 2nd bridge across Savanakhet and Moukdahan will officially be opened and number of Thai tourists are expected to be double.


As one of Lao citizen, What piece of advice would you give to Thai tourists coming to Laos for the first time?

Lao people are very hospitality . We have many nature places to see, the people there  are biggrinbiggrinfriendly . Please make sure that you make hotel resivation and all paper works correctly , You are well come to explore the beauty of this land..

1. Be respectful to the local people, tourist sites...
2. Be careful of using impolite words and making a negative comparison in front of Lao people.
3. acknowledge similarities and differences in the lifestyle or ways of living.
4. Be open minded tourists, etc.
