I watched it a while back and I really enjoyed it. I'm a guy and I have to admit that I shed some tears throughout some of the scenes because they were very touching and I could relate very much to it. I hope other young Lao-American's (second generation) get a chance to watch this as it will open their eyes more as it did with mine.

just for info. that the movie was nominated for the Academy award but not won

it's one of my all time favorite movie anyway
