ภาพสำนักข่าวสารปะเทดลาว-- พระพุทธรูปดินเผาและหินสลัดที่ชำรุดพบในเจดีย์เก่าแก่หลังพระอุโบสถวัดเพียวัด นครเวียงจันทน์ สื่อของทางการกล่าวว่า พบคราวเดียวกันนี้ยังรวมทั้งพระพทุธรูปสำริดขนาดใหญ่รวมอยู่ด้วย 1 องค์ ขนาดกลางอีก 12 องค์

ASTVผู้จัดการออนไลน์ -- ได้มีการพบพระพุทธรูปเก่าแก่อายุกว่า 300 ปี อีกกว่า 40 องค์ที่วัดเพียวัด เมืองสีสัดตะนาก นครเวียงจันทน์ ซึ่งได้ทำให้ชาวเมืองหลวงพากันรู้สึกปลาบปลื้ม โดยเชื่อว่าเป็นนิมิตที่ดีและเป็นศิริมงคลแห่งความเจริญรุ่งเรือง

การพบพระพุทธรูปครั้งนี้เป็นครั้งที่ 2 ในเวลาไล่เลี่ยกัน หลังจากพบครั้งแรกกว่า 200 องค์ เพียง 6 วันก่อนหน้านั้นที่วัดธาตุขาว ซึ่งเชื่อว่า มีความเก่าแก่กว่า 400 ปี ทำขึ้นไม่นานหลังการก่อตั้งเมืองหลวง

ครั้งล่าสุดนี้พบในเจดีย์องค์หนึ่งที่ตั้งอยู่ด้านหลังพระอุโบสถของวัดเพียวัด โดยเจ้าอาวาสวัดสั่งให้สามเณรตัดต้นโพธิ์ 2 ต้นออกจากเจดีย์ เนื่องจากต้นไม้โตขึ้นมาก เกรงจะทำให้เจดีย์อายุกว่า 300 ปีพังลง การตัดต้นโพธิ์ออกได้เผยให้เห็นพระพุทธรูปบรรจุอยู่ในโพรงด้านหลังขององค์เจดีย์ หนังสือพิมพ์เศรษฐกิจสังคมกล่าว

ในนั้นเป็นพระพุทธรูปสำริดขนาดใหญ่ 1 องค์ ขนาดเล็ก ขนาดกลาง 14 องค์ พระพุทธรูปดินเผาและหินสลัก 27 องค์ จำนวนที่เหลือเป็นพระพุทธรูปที่ทำจากไม้และอื่นๆ เจ้าอาวาสวัดจึงได้รายงานให้หน่วยงานที่รับผิดชอบเข้าไปตรวจสอบ หนังสือพิมพ์ฉบับเดียวกัน กล่าว

นายเวียงแก้วสุก สะหวัดดี รองอธิบดีกรมมรดก กระทรวงแถลงข่าวและวัฒนธรรม กล่าวว่าจะต้องศึกษาและพิสูจน์เพื่อหาอายุของพระพุทธรูปทั้งหมดอีกครั้งหนึ่ง

ชาวนครเวียงจันทน์ตั้งข้อสังเกตว่า การพบพระพุทธรูปถึง 2 ครั้งติดๆ กันนั้น “เหตุบังเอิญกำลังส่งสัญญาณโชคลาภและเป็นสิริมงคลอันดีงามที่ตจะผลักดันให้ลาวเจริญรุ่งเรืองอีกครั้งหนึ่ง เช่นเดียวกันกับอาณาจักรล้านช้างเมื่อก่อน..” เศรษฐกิจ-สังคม กล่าว
