I think the plan is to make people around the world scared or thinks that their car has problem after they change the parts/fix the problem everyone wants to buy a new car for sure, and for me if I like TOYOTA why not buy a new TOYOTA? It's actually a good brand, if they don't have problem people won't buy new cars.

In Lao when you buy a car, you pay cash and their is no warrantee at all, if it breakdown you have to fix it on your own expense. They only give you free labour on your first oil change but you have to buy the oil and the filter.

I think it won't affect Lao people because we pay CASH and if we can affort to own a car we can afford the maintenance fee.
