Regarding your question why asian women prefer white or black men than brown skinned guys, there are several possible reasons:
-its a tiket to go to western countries
-financial security
-sexual satisfaction
-have 'nice looking' kids
-love and passion
-others
It could be 1 or more these reasons

I can only answer for myself.. Yes, I do consider myself as romantic kindda guy or a good lover as well. It is true there are more asian female married to other races than asian male married to white/spanish/black. I think majority of asian female thinks their chance of better life is to be with other races than asian male. Another wow factor is, they want the cute babies.

Oh i forgot to mention, white me seems to like exotic asian beauties, thus for asian ladies its really not so difficult to get their attention. In contrast asian men would lust for whites or latinas or barbie-like beauties coz its pleasurable to the eyes and gives the man a jackpot feeling, especially knowing other men envious of him for having a doll walking alongside with him. I know i didnt capture everything but im sure you guys would agree.

There is no standard to talk about Romantic between a couple lover. In Western world they haver their own way to make romance to their lovers

Asian people also have their own unique or our own identity base on limited of our cultures and traditions. Some country like us has limited to expressing of their love in the public.

But today, everything has been change and Western easy easy culture life style is coming more to Asia and we also quickly accept it as well as pre-age sexual relation with poor of the Knowledge of sex education and bring up the social & health problems after that...

2. Laos guys are little shy and not willing to flirt or start conversation.It's like there are some tensions between us. (disadvantages)
3. Lao girls sometimes afraid that they will never get married and willing to go out with anyone as long as there is financial safety or personal pleasure involved. (deep down I know Lao girls would like to marry Asian or Lao guys.
4. A lot of Asian girls or Lao girls here in the US or other countries are not really exposed or get to meet Asian guys as often as meeting White or Blacks at work or social hang out.

1. I sort of agree on your take on this... It is more advantage for most lao girls to date white guys and not being seeing in lao community. It is safe and no gossips, if she was to date lao guys and she will be seeing with him around town. If they are no longer together, people start to dig up for trashy gossips.

2. I don't agree with your take on this one.. Well, I can't speak for most lao guys, but as for myself... I don't have any problem starting conversation with anyone. Especially to Caucasian women, they just get to the point.
