Hundreds of Vietnamese to support national squad in Laos
300 Vietnamese fans will visit Laos to support the national football team during their competition in the 25th SEA Games from December 8-14.
This was confirmed by the Vietnamese football fans club at a meeting in Hanoi on October 19.
Earlier this month, the General Department of Sports and Physical Training agreed to let the club organise a trip to Laos on this occasion.
Le Duc Trung, acting chairman of the club said that this will be a premise for the development of a national football fans club to cheer the national squad on at international tournaments in the near future.

That should generate some revenue of Imigration fees. And just to make sure they are all go home when SEA GAMES is ended.
Mayday, Mayday, I need your help? Why? I need to keep all of these Vietnamese passports. Why? Just to make sure they don't over stay. ha.ha.Just kidding. Ok... Well i think this is a good idea to have a fans outside the homebase. Right. also, it' would generate some revenue for the local economic as well as the whole country.
& among the Thai supporters there will be many yellow & red shirts to match the yellow & red cards :P
seriously i hope that the Lao police can cope with crowd control...don't think Laos has much experience dealing with football fan hooliganism & violence compared to European countries :P
Thai and Cambodian soccer fans should be provided with different seats. I mean the 25th seagame football organisers must provide seats for Thai soccer fans sitting far away from the Cambodians to ensure all so-called mental and physical circumstances!
