Invest $300,000.00 can buy 800 square meter in remote area, it's not bad idea. But this new policy will absolutely effect the poor.

Chinese and Vietnamese have been able to buy land for quite a while.

I think what they mean is any foreigner.

This will be tempting for people in the remote areas who own nothing but their precious land. Besides they will never acquire such monetary fortune even if they work night and day throughout their life span. Later Laotians will become squatters in their own country.

I wish to read some news that are truly pro-poor! no
