Yes indeed its not safe for family to travel like tha but speak out has a point. They have to live with what they have. The least the father can do is to excercise extra care in driving and maybe if he can buy his wife and children helmet each.

Yes, what i wanted to say, helmet, why don't they buy for kids and wife . some city don't fine if the driver wears the helmet, police don't care about somone who sits on back.
The dad is busy focusing on the road, the boy is getting tired.. hahahha oh! mom is fixing the daughter hair, that's family quality time together there.
The picture brings back good old memories for me..

brother, seeHarhed. u wan to tell us somthing from your old memories ?
Laos needs an inexpensive car that costs less than $2500 USD to fill the need of family like the one above. Maybe they can import a Tata Nano like this one.
Tata Nano
or somebody can domestically produce a cheap asian version of an old British Morris Mini Moke. My grandfather had real one in Vientiane. It was a great car.
wearing helmets promotes safety. a little insurance the ones you love yes?

This is better, almost every family member have helmet on through magic from computer. Hahaha, isn't their one for the cute puppy? You know a head on collusion is known to be a high risk in fatality?
You may live in other modern country which there have stronger traffic law but in Lao is another case and please don't comparing to what's your standard of living other there.
Here in Lao, people used to live like that. This behaviour will be changed when the new traffic law comes up in the future but not for now. ok

If you go to Vietnam even more worst
what are u talking about, the traffic law is not allowed to drive without helmet , because as you know, that law is not strict enought.
