This movie was never filmed in Laos and no lao actors or actress in any part of the movie.  It was filmed in Thailand and used thai actors and actress.  The movie itself didn't stay in theater too long and went straight to the video stores.  It was horrible movies and badly scripts.  I don't know what Mel Gibsons was thinking at all to be part of this movie.
