For your information, this picture was taken on Dong Daeng Island, on the banks of the Mekong River in southern Laos. Facing the hills were the ruined Khmer temples of Wat Phou and the little town Champasak are located.
What is my feeling when I see this picture? I want to know where is the water and why does southern part of Laos always smell like it is engulfed in a firestorm.
