Loy ka thong; is for the show respectfulness and thinkfulness to the Naga ? Or just throw out the unluck on the Ka thong and let it flow away? i used to go the Loy ka thong festival in my hometown ,Laos and used to Loy ka thong. Normally people put some money on the Ka thong and some bad guys tried to steal it by jumping on the river and take the money, I believe that those bad guys would get the unluck which people has prayed before flowing the Ka Thong?
