It was the question that many Lao people always ask about that. It seem like the Mongolian asking for the Genghis Kan tomb. If you know about the history of Laos since the last time of the king Fa Gnum, you will know what was happend with him and where were him go after that.
Lao people burn the dead, not bury it. To be more correct, Chao Fa Ngum's bones should be in a "That" or in English they call it stupa. I don't know where it is but all I know is that he died in Nan, (present day northern Thailand).

US airforce fighter Jets all equipe with GPS, from F15 all the way to F22 rapters and JFS 35. a Navy fleets to Nuclear Submarine all of these Equipes with global positioning Systems. Even mining and coal company also used this things to discover the stuff for them. for examlple: When the Plane went down to a deep sea what do you think they use to get a black box under 20,000-30,000 feets?? C'on man!!
Nan province is not part of Isaan (northeast Thailand), it's part of upper north Thailand. The culture & language is more similar to that of Lanna & northern Laos.

GPS is great tool to use as a pin point location(reference points). So, you can come back to the same location at the later date. If you don't know the vicinity of what you looking for, GPS definately will not going to be helpful.
Yes!! i agree with you on that ( seharhed) But in Archeologist they also used GPS but just a little different than in Military, for Instant in Egypt all those Archeologists used this System to find the toms that scatter all over the country.. and in the cases of Pha Chao Fagnumm's Tom, I don't think ! that there 's any for him. They might Cremated and put his Ashed somewhere in Laos.. Because in the History of Laxang they only said "Pha Chao Fagnumm was succeeded by his son Sam Saen thai in 1373 that was it ...
