let's say in the old days, how many people could  speak or write the broken english ?
it's broken, but we still understand what is your point. my hope is the future generation
to be able to speak and write the right ankit. for now is a lot better than nothing.
lao people around the world can communicate to each other using everyone use in the world technology.
i know, it's not at the high % in laos using internet. i know it's not perfect ankit use even they live for more than 2-3 decades in western countries. i know we don't spiik as native english speakers, but we can communicate, that is a  good start isn't it?

P.S. for the god's shake we didn't have the opportunity to schooling as the new generation do, but
please, give the old folk credit for they sacrifice their life for the good future of the new generation on both sides of the word "LAO" (lao living in and out of LAOS).

 Who the f k is care about if you speak perfect English or not ? Chinese, Russian, Japanese, France  and some of the major european countries don't a dam about speak english. Don't you see at the major submit most of them don't give a shiet about english.... What a pathetic.

  English is the international and universal language to communicate as the business and trade around the world and it is nice to know. For the people who don't know and don't speak the language that don't mean , they are not intelligent. There are a lot of intelligent scientists and physics who don't speak perfect English.

I don't see anything that Laos have to show that Laos is developed yet. Yes, is true if we said Vientiane is twice blooming of population and the city is twice larger than it was b-4 75's.  That's not a sign of developing the country.     Things to show the world if we are developed country.

1. No corruption in the governments, ever.

2. Most of Lao people have well educated.

3. Excellent health care assurances.

4. International level Hospitalizations.

5. Excellent 3 ways of transportation: Airlines, Boats and super highways and train across the country.

6. Excellent living condition of populations.

7. Be our self dependable, don't let Vietnamese be our remote controls.

Brain and knowledge  . Educated the people.

What do you thing about this disigh of this lao aviation?

 used to pick up garbage, wash other peoples dirty dishes, clean toilets just to put myself through school, so I don't think that is shameful. Do I still do those jobs now, if I wanted to yes, but I prefer not to now unless I had no other choice but to put food in my mouth somehow. If you are happy with what you are and what you have, fine. i will continue to strive forward.

Here in America, the illegal mexicans are willing to do all the dirty jobs that the lazy 'Americans' don't want to do like landscaping jobs out in the sun, clean toiliets and sewers. Someone has to do those jobs and that's why there are so many illegals.

I agree with having brand name stores like "Channel" on every corner to sell handbags cause that's what everyone needs in Laos even though they can't even afford to eat or go to school. I also think we need large condo's everywhere and highways and trains and traffic so destroy all the poor homes and forest and natural beauty so we can have a poluted city like everyone else in the world. I also think we should have big factories like in India and exploit our cheap labour by paying people 2 cents per day to work in them while the big international corps make all the profit and use their money outside of Laos. I also think we should have franchise restaurants come in and sell fast food and unhealthy food to Laos people so they can be just as fat as the rest of the world and then become lazy and don't know how to cook their own traditional food and further lose their culture. Can you say "would you like sticky rice with that?". We should also have movie theaters, theme parks and shopping malls all over the place so that our kids don't want to go to school anymore and just play games all day and spend money that they don't have by becoming prostitutes. But the number one thing that Laos needs to show the world that we are developed is corrupt leaders who use the countries money for their own personal benefit instead of for the good of the Laos people and their future by developing the society. Oh wait, we already do have those in Laos.

After I had read all your comments.  I should admire for your work hard and sucessful in your education.  But I felt offensive of your point of views and you had tried to criticize all commentors on this Web.  You think to yourself that you have better ideas than anybody there.  if you have many good ideas and just show them the money.   Don't just talk to talk and walk to walk.  Maybe all of us want learn from you how to show the world.  I think we all want lao to look good and better in the world.  So help us Buhhda lord!!!
